About Me:: You can read my perspectives on m-pyre...a group blog I share with Mikaela and Maggie. I also write for the New Mexico Independent. On the more frivolous side, I love to snow ski and am always looking for partners. I wheel and deal in antique/vintage quilts, and usually have around 60 on hand. If you ever want to check them out let me know...I love to show them off. Other things I enjoy are photography, good fiction, wine bars and coffee shops. Oh, and Duke City Fix of course.

Reforming the TIDD Gravy Train...Make that call!

While we're debating presidential elections and hashing the movies, the State Legislative Session is in full swing and many New Mexicans are only thinking about the many issues currently being debated at the Roundhouse. One of them is particularly dear to my heart.

Don't let the apparent silence keep you from posting those great pieces. It can be disheartening when the frivolous gets everyone gabbing and on the really important stuff people hold their tongues.

Meanwhile the telecoms were granted retroactive immunity for spying on Americans and it grabbed a paragraph on page 3 of the Journal... the race is truly not for the swift but who can endure... keep it up, we need it.
