not sure what your into, livingwise, but Nob Hill/ student ghetto & Ridgecrest (87106 & 87108) are the only self sustaining neighborhoods in the city (they are all connected) where you can actually live without a car and all the shopping you need is right there. I did some demographics a while back working on my last attempt at a restaurant and 87106 & 87108 has the highest concentration of artists in the state. A beatiful bungalow in Nob Hill will run about 225,000. to 300,00. on about 1500 sq ft. not the most expensive neighborhood but the one of the coolest. the creators of this website are from there and a good many of the members are from that area.
