Hi cc - I believe we worked on the tile mural you installed at Alvarado some years back! I was one of your helpers.

My sons go to Bosque School - and we are selling whatever we have and spending all the inheritance money we can get our hands on to do it. One year at Taft and my older son begged to go somewhere else and the charters were not really up and running yet. My father offered to help with some of the tuition and there we were at a private school. My kids have done very well there. One graduated this year and the other will be a junior. The graduate will leave soon for Boston.

The Natural History job sounds great - Have heard great things about Amy Biel and know some kids there. Albuquerque is such a small place sometimes. It is hard to believe that your daughter is going to high school - she was a toddler when we did the mural! But it is equally hard for me to think about sending a child to college!
Glad to hear what you're up to these days - I think of you sometimes when I ride my bike over that way.

The clay tile Coyote below was made by Sarah Rose at Pot Hollow South this summer for the Protect our Wildlife Corridors mural - twill be installed on the 2nd panel depicting High Country.

Cirrelda - Sure, but my memories are pretty hazy about the Ocha fund. Michelle or Ken Balizer (I think) were more involved in the details than I was. Glad to talk anyway. I'm pretty open this week except for Wednesday morning at this point. Wanna get together for coffee? (or tea)

Yikes. Good luck! Hard to wait too long, eh?

No 50th b'day to look forward to this year to get together.
Our annual open house has turned into the Placitas Studio Tour on Mother's day weekend, tho - so I will send you an invite!

Thats right, Laura and Peter. Thngs are in a bit of upheaval right now, as the non-pofit I've been working for the past two years didn't do a good job of fundraising and now can't pay me ;^( So I'm looking around for new opportunities, though they may get their act together - just not sure if I can afford to wait for them to do it.

Hey Cirrelda - I was just talking about you and JB last week. We (Lisa and I) were at a party at Ricardo and Cynthia's, and Laura & Joseph from Placitas were there and I was saying that I was pretty sure we had mutual friends. Anyway, good to hear from you,
Steve
