My day job is one of those that some people find "neat". I get to do a morning show with my wife, and our really good friend on 100.3 The Peak. Usually we touch on "light hearted" stuff, or will spend way too much time discussing the downfall of "Brit Brit Y'all". It was a great moment in the top of the 9th when Pedroia led off with that Monster shot. There was a glimmer of hope for a 9th inning comeback and the place was electric.
My wife's favorite part was singing "Sweet Caroline" in the middle of the 8th. What a great ballpark tradition.
It would have been sweet if we didn't have that rainout the night before and coulda seen Beckett V. Roy, but judging from the outing the next day, Beckett would have stunk it up b/c of the finger. Bums me (and probably your wife) out.
It's funny, I'm glad you left me a comment, I kept thinking the whole time I was away (and checking my email, phone messages, and the redsox.com website obsessively) on vacation that you had surreptitiously run for governor, but were playing it cool... not true, right?

Ahh, Jerry West. One of the true greats.
Thank you Mr. Cheney. I was born and raised in West Virginia, never saw a toilet as a planter. Do not recall seeing a toilet left outside for that matter.
The funny thing is, when I listen to your show I always think that you and your sense of humor reminds me of my friends back home.
