Where did that restaurant go?

Gil's Thrilling Website is a good place to remember long forgotten restaurants. Do you get a hankering for something and realize you could only get it at a place that is now closed? I miss the stuffed sopaipillas from Ramon's in Northdale Shopping Center, the burritos at Ron's Camino Real on Yale and my first trip to a salad bar at the Spaghetti Machine - in Hoffmantown? What are some places you miss?

Suzanne did you go to the Fajitaville on Fourth Street? I looooved that place. They had the most amazing pineapple salsa.

What about Baca's on Central? I loved that place when I was a kid!

My Ohio-native grandparents loved Baca's, which I think says a little about the fierceness of their chile. Still, it was a friendly comfortable place in a way that nothing in the Nob Hill area today approaches. And what great booths...I understand they were briefly at the Blue Dragon before meeting their final demise.

Pizza--- For the life of me I cannot remember the name, but I know one of you out there will.
This hangout had all the pizza parlors in town beat at the time. On weekends we had to stand in line outside the restaurant just to get in. It was located by UNM and I think at the corner of Terrace and Central pretty near University St. before it was made a thorough-fare...and that just reminded me of a beer joint that was at the corner of University and Central for years! But at my age, I'll probably remember at 3AM...lol

I remember the K&I dinner. It used to be on south broadway? I think they moved to rio rancho. Me and my friends would ditch back in highschool and try to finish a full Travis. Good times and good food.

K & I is still on Broadway south of Gibson they are open 7-2 or something like that. I think a full travis would kill me .
