Gil's Thrilling Website is a good place to remember long forgotten restaurants. Do you get a hankering for something and realize you could only get it at a place that is now closed? I miss the stuffed sopaipillas from Ramon's in Northdale Shopping Center, the burritos at Ron's Camino Real on Yale and my first trip to a salad bar at the Spaghetti Machine - in Hoffmantown? What are some places you miss?

So does anyone else remember the Robin Hood on North Fourth Street? They had a giant tree growing out of the middle of the restaurant. And of course we still have La Placita in Old Town. Haven't eaten there in years, but I suppose the tree is still there. Any other places that I've forgotten about?; ▶ Reply to This
