Where in 'Burque is Adelita? (numero dos)

This journey of discovering bits and pieces of 'Burque has been so much fun. For those of you that missed my post last week, please catch up!

The best part of this has been having my daughter as a lookout. She is on high alert and makes the best suggestions for "mom's crazy project." I now realize that there are so many parts of the city she's not familiar with. I like that she has formulated definite opinions on different areas. The girl has gotten good at drive-by photography too! We've seen some cool street names along the way and we both think we should live on a street named Poco Loco!

This week we have a twist. For any one person that is the first to identify two or more places, you win a Joe S. Sausage sandwich!! I won't reveal any answers until I get two correct answers by one person. And remember, if you have won any contest on Duke City Fix in the last 30 days, you are not eligible to win the prize.

A member of DCF has donated the dinero for the sandwich but has chosen to keep his/her identity super secret. A big thank you to the mystery DCFer!

Here you go and good luck!

This is so much fun! I surely will not win, so I will sit back and let others tell me where the pictures were taken.

#3 is down SW Broadway, between woodward and gibson. Does this mean i get to chew the end of the sandwich?

I think #2 is at the UNM Transportation Center at Lomas and University.

Damn, these are tough-- The "Thunderbird" design is at the old Bob Turner's Ford, now the UNM transpo hub @ Lomas & Univ.Is that first one at the park at Indian School/Menaul and 12th st., just West? Or is it at Tiguex? Andi'll take a shot at # 5, but it's too vague-- Old Town, near the High Noon?

Wow. The first two I've seen before, but I can't remember where!! It's hell getting old. However, the street Poco Loco is an old friend of mine! My first girlfriend ever (back in middle school) lived on Hale Circle, right off of Poco Loco. Many many walks along those ditches, walking by the old Wellborn Paint plant on Rosmoor...

Masshole! You are a winner!!! Yes the Thunderbird is at the old Bob Turner's Ford on the corner of Lomas and University. I think it's "T" Parking for UNM. And # 1 is at Menaul and 12th Street. It's called 4H Park. For those of you not familiar it is across the street from the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center.

Masshole, I'll send a personal message to you on how you can get the best sandwich in town!! Congrats!
