About Me:: I started AMP Concerts to expand the musical opportunities in Albuquerque. We specialize in world, folk, acoustic and Americana music, but ultimately present what we think is interesting. We run a monthly acoustic music series at the Windchime Champagne Gallery downtown, as well as regular shows in venues like Puccini's Golden West Saloon and theaters such as the Lobo, KiMo, El Rey and National Hispanic Cultural Center. Neal, that show was incredible. It's exactly the kind of thing Albuquerque needs. We've got some great local bands, but some of the bigger acts like the caliber of Wilco will help draw others in and generate momentum.
