After a brief bout with linear thinking, I realize that the review of brand-new restaurant Khan really should have gone here....

i saw a piece in the business section of the Albuq. Journal dated June 19 that The Range Cafe on Wyoming was moving across the street to a bigger location. "NEW HOME FOR THE RANGE." That was supposed to happen by last week. I called them tonight to see of it did, and they said, not for another month.

We just went to one of Season's Jazz on the Patio last night and it was a good time! While we were there I found out about an upcoming "Beer Dinner". So, I thought that I would let everyone know about some really good sounding dinners coming up at Season's. Here is the info from their website.
"We're planning an evening of blues and brews on our upstairs patio with a Sierra Nevada Beer Dinner on Thursday, July 24th. This casual evening affair will start at 6:30 pm with a reception course including passed appetizers. The seated portion of the dinner will begin at 7:00 pm and include four additional courses. Check out the menu below. If you have questions or would like to make reservations send us an e-mail at randy@seasonsonthenet.com.

Finally, on August 22nd, Seasons will present a Scotch Whiskey Dinner. The dinner will be hosted by a certified Scotch Ambassador from Diageo Distributing.

Look for finalized menus, dates and starting times here in the near future. If you have any questions please feel free to call us at 766-5100 or send us an e-mail to the address above".

Nob Hill Bar & Grill is featuring "Soul Food Sundays" each Sunday from approx. 3-until. Limited "Soul Food " menu in the bar area with soul music playing. They always have very creative fare and cocktails; as well as a good beer list & wine list. Check them out! Last Sunday was good!

One of the things I like best about ABQ are the restaurants, so this is a good group for me. However, one of the things I've never understood is the popularity of The Frontier. Am I the only ABQ resident who doesn't like that place? It's always listed in all of the "Best of ABQ" rankings, so sometimes I think I am....LOL

...which makes them prime for popping in to the toaster oven when you get home, that way each slice is hot and crispy just when you need it....mmm...

I had a really good Sicilian from Giovanni's. I can't help that I'm a big crust person - sometimes the thinner regular pizzas do tend to be a bit soft in the middle.
Brendan Comment by Brendan on May 21, 2008 at 7:55pm
A couple years ago I had an indifferent slice at Giovanni's- Went back a couple weeks ago and bought a Sicilian- it was awesome. Made me feel better about living so far from Corrales Village Pizza.

I'm surprised about the negative comment on Giovannis, I have not had a bad experience in the past unless something has changed recently.
