Bridge Ribbon Cutting and Dedication

There will be a official ribbon cutting on the new bike bridge over the North Diversion Channel between I-40 and Menaul on Wednesday, April 23rd at 10 AM. The mayor will be there to cut the ribbon with members of AMAFCA who contributed to the project along with the City's Transportation Section. I also understand that the bridge will be dedicated in honor of James Quinn who lost his life while cycling on Old 66 in Tijeras Canyon. It would be great to have a big group of all types of cyclists there to be in the background when the news photographers and TV cameras are rolling. If you can make it, please try and be there. Best way to get there is to take the North Diversion Channel Trail to the location (just south of Menaul near the Applebee's on Menaul).
